Orthopedic felt is a dense wool-blend felt that keeps its shape under body weight. It is the standard material for offloading pads: trainers cut it into metatarsal, arch, heel and sesamoid pads that shift pressure away from a sore spot, and use it to build up areas inside shoes and casts. Available as non-adhesive sheets or an adhesive roll.
