Black vinyl foam is a dense, shock-absorbing foam used for protective padding. It absorbs and spreads impact, so trainers use it to build custom protective pads for shoulders, hips, thighs and shins, and to line hard shells such as AC pads and splints — it is the same type of foam that lines the Floogie AC pad. Available in ¼", ⅜" and ½", with or without an adhesive backing.
